Our Quality Assurance Process
At DruckerDepot, every customer receives only what we would buy ourselves – a printer that truly works. Each used device undergoes a multi-stage, standardized testing process.
Why a Used Printer?
Used printers are not only more affordable – they are also the more sustainable choice. Instead of discarding functional devices, we professionally refurbish them and give them a second life. Good for your budget, good for the environment.
Note on Signs of Use
Our classics are used devices and may show age-related, cosmetic signs of use such as scratches or wear and tear. This is part of a device with history – and does not affect its performance. Flawless functionality is guaranteed for every device.

Strict Purchasing Criteria
Not every device makes it into our inventory. Each used printer is evaluated against strict criteria during purchase:
- Flawless Functionality – all core functions must be operational
- Minimum Page Count – the page counter is checked to ensure sufficient remaining lifespan
- General Condition – casing, connections, and mechanics are checked for damage
Cleaning
Every used printer is cleaned by us before it leaves the warehouse – so it arrives at your place clean and tidy.
New Original Canon Print Head
Every refurbished printer at DruckerDepot receives a new, original Canon print head. You print with the quality of a new device from day one – no worn-out consumable part.
Canon Nozzle Test & Test Prints
The core of our testing process is the Canon nozzle test. The standardized test pattern shows the condition of all print nozzles – complete lines without gaps in cyan, magenta, yellow, and black mean perfect nozzles.
Only printers with a flawless nozzle test pattern pass this test. Subsequently, several test pages are printed to check print quality, color accuracy, and paper feed.
Packaging & Shipping Preparation
Only when all tests have been successfully completed is the printer securely packaged and prepared for shipping. Our goal: You open the package and are immediately thrilled.
